Long-term live-in care

The prospect of moving out of our own home is very distressing for many people; leaving behind treasured possessions (and all the memories they trigger) to move into a residential care home can be very upsetting. After all, home is our sanctuary and leaving it behind is not a choice many people would want to make.

Your homelife your way
Live-in care can be the answer, meaning there's no need to consign private possessions, daily habits and pleasures to your past; they can very much be part of your future too.

Continued quality of life
Continue living in your own home with the support of a professional carer, matched to your individual needs to help with all the day-to-day things that are part of living independently in your own home, such as:
Personal care - bathing, washing and dressing, assisting with personal care, toileting, and helping maintain your overall appearance, so you look and feel like yourself.
Day-to-day domestic tasks - light housework, washing, ironing and cooking.
Companionship - someone to talk to, take trips out of the house with so life continues as normal.

Short-term Live-in Care
There are many circumstances when short-term live-in care is needed, for example we receive frequent requests from people who are the primary carers for a family member wanting peace of mind whilst they take a holiday or to provide a respite period.

Focus on getting better
Live-in care also offers those recovering from surgery or an illness, the opportunity to stay at home with their local support network around them. Carers live in the clients' homes, enabling them care and support, while they focus on getting better.

Quicker Recovery
In our experience, clients talk of recovering more quickly at home rather than spending time recuperating in hospital. Live-in care can lead to vast improvements in the overall health and wellbeing of the individual needing care.

"At 93 years old, having given up driving and living alone in a dearly loved, rather isolated cottage in Sussex, I turned to them for help. I am more than satisfied with the very personal care and attention I have received from them for over 18 months to date."
